Perfect South West Coastal Path Lunch Spot

We discovered The Rectory Tea Rooms by chance, after looking for somewhere to park while we completed the Hawkers Hut to Mead section of the South West Coast Path section - A really beautiful, rugged and very hilly section.

The Tea Rooms are a family run business and are located in the 13th Century Rectory House, which has got great character inside, although we sat outside with the dogs in the beautiful walled garden.

The menu features a selection of Cornish Cream Teas - of course - pasties, tarts, quiche and ploughmans, all made from ingredients found in the kitchen garden, as well as sourced from local Cornish and West Country producers. The menu is quite pricey, however, the portions are large and the food is absolutely delicious.

Well worth a visit.

They are open Easter to October 11am to 5pm
