Local Amenities

When we first viewed the barn, our estate agent told us that Bradworthy had everything you would ever need, so much so we would never have to leave. After spending a bit in time in Bradworthy – We wouldn’t exactly agree to that extent, however, it is a lovely friendly village, which covers all the essentials;

  • The Bradworthy Inn – A family run, very friendly (and dog friendly) pub with beer garden. They have an extensive selection of real ales, lager and cider.  For kids, or those who are young at heart, the Bradworthy Inn has a pool table, jukebox, skittle alley and dart board.

    • Coffee Shop @ The Bradworthy Inn - Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am, offering a selection of teas, coffees, homemade cakes, buns, cream teas, full English breakfast, bacon baps, and baguettes.

  • Kerry’s Traditional Butchers – Fantastic local butchers, owned by Kerry herself, who makes all the shops sausages. As well as covering all your meat needs, Kerry’s Butchers also stocks homemade sauces, pickles, curds and cakes.

Village Shops – Both Stock all the essentials

  • AF Balsdon & Sons in the Square – excellent scones

  • Costcutter -  Open 8am-9pm

  • Post Office – Bradworthy post office is part of the Costcutter

  • Martin & Co Hardware Store – Not necessarily needed for a holiday maker, however this store has everything you would ever need and more, so definitely worth a mention.
